Quran Memorization (Hifz) with Tajweed
Memorize the Quran with correct Tajweed through personalized online lessons, structured revision, and consistent teacher feedback. Work toward selected Surahs, Juz Amma, or a longer-term Hifz goal at a pace suited to your level and schedule.
Course overview
Quran Memorization (Hifz) with Tajweed
Build a consistent Quran memorization journey with proper Tajweed, personalized guidance, and a structured revision system.
This course is designed for children and adults who want to memorize selected Surahs, Juz Amma, or work toward memorizing larger portions of the Quran. Each student follows a plan based on their current recitation ability, previous memorization, available study time, and personal goals.
The focus is not simply on memorizing new verses. You will also develop the recitation accuracy, repetition habits, and regular revision needed to retain what you have memorized.
What You Will Learn
You will work on:
- Memorizing new Quranic verses step by step.
- Reciting memorized passages accurately.
- Applying Tajweed rules during memorization and recitation.
- Correcting pronunciation and Makharij.
- Improving fluency and confidence in Quranic recitation.
- Connecting new verses to previously memorized passages.
- Building an effective daily memorization and revision routine.
- Reviewing older memorization to strengthen long-term retention.
- Reciting memorized portions confidently in Salah.
A Structured Memorization & Revision System
The course balances new memorization with revision so that previously learned portions remain strong.
Depending on the student's level and study plan, lessons may include:
Sabaq
Your new memorization for the current lesson.
Sabqi
Recent memorization that is reviewed regularly to strengthen recall and connection between lessons.
Manzil
Older memorized portions that are reviewed on a continuing schedule to support long-term retention.
The exact amount of new memorization and revision is adjusted according to the student's ability and available study time.
Tajweed Throughout the Memorization Process
Tajweed is integrated into memorization rather than treated as something to correct later.
Your teacher listens to your recitation and helps you improve areas such as:
- Makharij and correct letter pronunciation
- Common Tajweed rules
- Madd
- Ghunnah
- Noon Sakinah and Tanween
- Meem Sakinah
- Qalqalah
- Rules of stopping and continuing
- Fluency and accurate recitation
The curriculum is adapted to the student's existing Tajweed knowledge and recitation level.
Flexible Hifz Goals
Not every student has the same memorization goal.
You may work toward:
- Selected short Surahs
- Juz Amma
- Selected Juz or Surahs
- Strengthening previously memorized portions
- Continuing an existing Hifz program
- A long-term goal of memorizing the complete Quran
Your teacher will help establish a realistic memorization and revision plan based on your starting point and available time.
Who This Course Is For
This course is suitable for:
- Children learning Quran memorization with a teacher.
- Adults beginning or continuing their Hifz journey.
- Students who already know how to read the Quran and want to memorize.
- Students who have memorized Surahs but need a stronger revision routine.
- Students who want to improve Tajweed while memorizing.
- Students continuing Hifz after studying with another teacher.
- Students who want to memorize specific Surahs for Salah or personal study.

How Lessons Work
Each lesson is personalized to the student's current level and memorization target.
A typical lesson may include:
- Review of previously memorized material.
- Correction of Tajweed and pronunciation.
- Introduction of the new memorization portion.
- Guided repetition and connection between verses.
- Student recitation from memory.
- Assignment of the next memorization and revision targets.
The pace depends on the student's age, level, memory, schedule, and consistency.
Your Progress
Progress is based on both new memorization and retention.
The goal is not simply to increase the number of memorized verses. It is to build accurate, sustainable memorization that can be maintained through regular revision.
Students can gradually increase their memorization target as their fluency, accuracy, and consistency improve.
A Long-Term Quran Journey
Memorizing the Quran is a long-term commitment. Rather than promising an unrealistic completion date, this course provides structured guidance and steady progress toward the student's individual Hifz goals.
Whether you want to memorize a few Surahs or begin a longer journey toward complete Hifz, the program can be adapted to where you are starting and where you want to go.
