1. Welcome to Souhba!

Thanks for choosing Souhba Academy. By using our website and scheduling lessons, you agree to these basic guidelines. We keep our rules simple and focused on community and shared learning to make sure everything runs smoothly for both you and our patient native tutors.

2. What We Teach

We provide live online lessons — one-on-one, and in small-group Learning Circles — in:

  • Egyptian Arabic
  • Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
  • Classical Grammar & Text Study
  • Optional Classical Phonetics & Pronunciation Study
  • Arabic for Kids
  • Arabic Civilization & Culture

All sessions are held live over video call platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype.

3. Account & Registration

  • Please give us accurate contact information when you register or book a class so we can stay in touch.
  • Your account is personal to you or your child. Sharing accounts with other households is not permitted.

4. Scheduling & Cancellation (The 24-Hour Rule)

  • Lessons are arranged in advance with your tutor or over WhatsApp.
  • If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, please give us at least 24 hours' notice and we'll move it at no cost.
  • A lesson cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice counts as taken, so your tutor's reserved time is respected.
  • If your tutor ever has to cancel, that lesson is always rescheduled at no cost to you.

5. Payments & Plans

  • Lessons are offered as monthly plans, paid at the start of each month before your lessons begin. Your first trial lesson is free — see our pricing page for current plans.
  • Keep payments with Souhba: please pay the academy directly by bank transfer, Wise, or PayPal — not your tutor personally — so we can stand behind every lesson.
  • There is no long contract. You can stop before your next month, and any lessons you have already paid for in the current month remain yours to use. Full detail is in our Refund Policy.

6. House Rules & Policies

We expect a friendly, safe, and respectful learning environment. Please adhere to the following policies:

  • No Session Recording: Lesson recording is strictly prohibited to protect the privacy of students and tutors. Any breach will result in immediate account termination.
  • Official Communication: We will not send SMS to your phone for marketing or scheduling. Official communication takes place through our official Email, WhatsApp, or Telegram.
  • Respectful Conduct: We do not tolerate any harassment, disrespect, or inappropriate behavior toward our tutors. We reserve the right to stop lessons immediately if these guidelines are breached.

7. Intellectual Property

All learning resources, PDFs, and customized materials shared with you during classes are for your personal study only. Please note that some materials are not originally created or modified by us, and all intellectual property rights belong to their respective original creators. Please do not share, sell, or distribute them.
