1. Hey there! Welcome to Souhba Academy

We take your privacy very seriously. We're a personal learning community, and we want you to feel completely safe and comfortable learning with us. This policy describes how we collect and look after the info you share when you use our website or take video lessons.

2. What We Collect & Why

  • Info you give us: When you send us a message, subscribe to the newsletter, or chat with us on WhatsApp or email, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number so we can reply to you.
  • Payments: Our website never handles payments. Lessons are arranged personally over WhatsApp or your preferred channel — no card details ever touch this site.
  • Our own site analytics: We run a private, first-party analytics system (built and hosted by us) that records basic technical details — pages visited, IP address, browser type — so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. This data stays with us, is never sold, and is automatically deleted after 12 months.

3. Cookies & Marketing Tools

We use two very different kinds of measurement, and we want to be clear about both:

  • Always on — our own analytics: the first-party system described above. It uses no third-party cookies and shares nothing with anyone.
  • Only with your consent — marketing cookies: to advertise Souhba Academy, we may use measurement tools from platforms such as Google (Analytics & Ads), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Microsoft (Ads & Clarity), TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, and VK. These load only after you accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, they stay off — simple as that.

When you do consent, two things can happen: those platforms set their own cookies to measure our ads and build audiences, and when you contact us or subscribe we may send the platform a privacy-protected (irreversibly hashed) form of your email together with technical details, so our advertising can be measured accurately. You can change your mind at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

4. Phone Number Privacy

  • If you give us your phone number, we only use it to contact you directly about your classes and scheduling. We do not send automated marketing texts or SMS notifications.
  • We promise never to share, sell, or rent your number to third parties or affiliates.

5. Sharing Your Info

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal info to anyone. We share details only with trusted services that help us run Souhba Academy (like our hosting provider and video call platforms) — and, only if you consented, with the advertising platforms described in section 3.

6. Kids' Privacy

For children taking our kids' Arabic classes, a parent or guardian must sign up and coordinate the classes. We don't knowingly collect info directly from kids under 13.

7. Deleting Your Data

Site analytics are automatically deleted after 12 months. If you'd like us to wipe the information you sent us (messages, newsletter subscription) immediately, just send us an email and we'll do it right away.
