About Muhammad

I trained as an engineer at Zewail City of Science and Technology, and that background taught me something important: complex things become simple when you break them into clear, logical steps. That's exactly how I teach Arabic.\n\nBut here's what engineering didn't teach me — and what I learned from my students: learning a language is emotional. It's vulnerable. When you forget a word you just learned, or when a sentence doesn't come out right, you need someone who won't rush you. Someone who says, "That's okay. Let's try it differently."\n\nI had a student from Poland — a complete beginner who told me in our first lesson, "I've tried three times before and always quit." I didn't promise her fluency. I promised her I wouldn't let her quit. A year later, she had her first real conversation in Egyptian Arabic with a taxi driver. She messaged me that night: "He understood me. He actually understood me."\n\nThat moment is why I teach. Not the grammar rules. Not the textbook exercises. The moment when a student realizes: I can actually do this.\n\nI build every lesson around your goals. If you want to speak to family, we practice family conversations. If you want to travel, we practice ordering food, asking directions, and making friends. Your lessons are yours — I just help you get there.
